About Us

The founder of MCG gained valuable experience of corporate world during his early days of service career with  one of the largest multinational companies after finishing graduation in 1998. In 2000, his journey in the business arena started with founding a RMG buying house in the name of Prolefic Asia and a trading concern named M/s Chowdhury Trading focusing Textile Chemicals.

In course time he entered in the manufacturing business of Knit Fabrics by establishing a new company, Chowdhury Knit Fabrics Ltd. in 2010 and expanded his chemical business under the name Chowdhury Chem Textile Ltd. in 2012.

In 2015, MCG gained another gem in its crown by adding a new concern, Nawar Agro Food Industries Ltd which has a state-of-the-art manufacturing plant located in the vicinity of Dhaka providing the Group with a highly cost effective manufacturing base.

As M. Chowdhury Group has grown over the years, the flagship platform now has operations and investments across a wide range of industries including textiles auxilaries, testile chemicals, knit fabrics and food processing. The Group sells its products and services in the domestic market as well as international markets.

Chowdhury Group is well positioned to capitalize on strong growth across industries in both the domestic and global markets. Each Group company is managed by an independent, professional team with significant depth of experience. Management teams have established a clear strategic plan that will further strengthen the overall platform. M.
